Antefilms Studio, located in Angoulême, France has become a leading name in the field of high definition computer-generated images due to its know-how and the production staff’s wide range of technical and artistic talents. Quality and technological innovation are common denominators in the images produced by the studio’s designers, modelers, animators, rendering artists and special effects artists.
Established in 1998, the studio has flourished since that time, due to its strategic (and convenient) location in the heart of Angoulême’s artistic quarter, an area known for its concentration of audio-visual and technology companies with Magelis second Image Centre in France.
Antefilms Studio has gained recognition for its mastery of bringing cartoons to life whether it is through full 3D rendering or their unique process of integrating 2D and 3D techniques. The studio’s stellar reputation has been built over the years with it’s impressive roster of shows, including the groundbreaking worldwide hit series Code Lyoko (97x26’ produced in 2D/3D), Pet Alien (104x13’ full 3D), The Fantastic Four (26x26’ integrating 2D/3D), Flight Squad (26x26’ integrating 2D/3D), Funky Cops (39x26’ integrating 2D/3D and motion capture), The Invisible Man (26x26’ integrating 2D/3D) and the all-new Casper (52 x 13' full 3D) and Bunny Maloney (52x13' full 3D)
With a capacity of about 80 people, Antefilms Studio is able to perform all types of graphics work for TV series, but can also respond to specific demands like corporate films, advertising and digital special effects for movies or TV.
Antefilms Studio has become a laboratory of sorts, with regard to audiovisual and cinematographic imagery, tackling the challenges of 3D relief images by investing in a program of development in this new form of media expression
